First and foremost, I want you to know that there is never a need to apologize for your home. This is especially true if you have pets and/or kids. When my son was two he would sneak into the living room with his juice box, reach his little hands through the railing, and make 'waterfalls' onto the stairs below... Trust me, we understand that these things happen. Our homes are meant to be lived in, not admired from a distance like a Rembrandt in a museum. So please, don't be embarrassed about your home.
Many of us, myself included, have 4 legged family members that haven't quite mastered using the potty like the talented Jinxy Focker. No big deal. That's why you called us. We understand and we're there to help. But we do ask that you have a talk with your fuzzy loved ones explaining to them that we don't bite and we expect that same level of respect. When we clean your home we use loud equipment that can scare our furry friends. For their well being, it's best that you put your pets somewhere that they won't be disturbed by the loud decibels and all the commotion that comes with professional carpet cleaning. Also, we will have to go in and out of your home several times while loading and unloading equipment. Putting your pets in a safe enclosed place will eliminate you having to chase your little escape artist around the neighborhood. Okay, so you're not going to be embarrassed and you've planned a safe place to put the pets before we arrive. Now what? Well, our goal is to clean as much of your carpet as possible. So your goal should be to get everything that you can off the floor or out of the rooms to be cleaned before we arrive. Obviously we don't expect you to put the dresser on the bed or the entertainment center on the couch. But laundry baskets, guitars, shoes, smaller things like that need to be up and off the floor before we visit your home. We are professional carpet cleaners, not professional movers. We will gladly move things like small tables or ottomans and put them back in their original place when we're done. But we don't move heavy things like entertainment centers, grandfather clocks, desks, beds, large potted plants, that motorcycle in the corner, the elephant in the room, etc. And there's really no need to move those things because we can easily clean around them. Well, maybe not the elephant.
